When did this happen?
Before I could realize
The sun was a little less bright
The shooting stars missed their flight
Before I could realize
My inner happiness wore out
My soul waited to shout!

Seems like yesterday
My world was perfect, I got what I wanted
Good food, great friends and luxuries were showered upon me till no end

Before I could realize
A tear rolled down my cheek
Questioning my existence
Life seemed like an endless road
And I walked just to cover the distance

I crave for a direction, a sign
Other's life has motive, why can't mine?
I still tend to laugh, facing problems that way isn't bad
But then people tend to miss out on the eyes that are empty and sad

Refusing to die in self pity, i will take charge
Find an inspiration,get motivated and make it large!
I want to respect myself enough one day, enough to not wonder when did this happen?
